I am extremely concerned to hear that a Swindon Police Officer was seriously injured last night after being struck by an electric bike.
My thoughts are with the officer who is being treated in hospital, his family and colleagues.
A 17-year-old male was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and he remains in police custody.
