Tier 2
Swindon will remain in Tier 2 following an announcement by the government this afternoon. We still need to remain on a high alert here in the town and the decision to keep us in Tier 2 was one that I expected.

The Vaccine Programme
We have still got a long way to go this winter, but the vaccine is coming, we are now seeing it being administered at GWH and we will see more vulnerable people receive it in the weeks ahead here in the town.
When it is time for you to receive the vaccine, you will receive a letter, followed by a phone call.
You can find an information video about the COVID-19 Vaccine on my Facebook page.

Christmas
We all have to do everything we can and play our part to fight the virus. It is important that we all exercise great care and follow the rules, particularly at Christmas. Think about what you are going to be doing and how you are going to do it. We all have a joint responsibility, we’ve all come so far together, and it is that combined and collective effort of the people of Swindon and our country that means that ultimately, we will deal with this virus.
