NatWest Skills & Opportunities Fund 2018
NatWest have recently announced their Skills & Opportunities Fund 2018. This is a brilliant prospect for not-for-profit organisations to access much needed funding. NatWest have said:
“At NatWest we want to help build better communities for everyone. To achieve that aim, we’re seeking projects that will enable people in disadvantaged communities to develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to build their financial capability skills or to start or develop a new business now or in the future.”
Within South Swindon, the fund has already provided £35,000 to Prime Theatre. This was one grant of the £2 million made available across England and Wales under the fund in 2017. NatWest seek to provide crucial funding to not-for-profit organisations.
Robert Buckland QC MP has spoken in support of the fund, remarking that:
“The Skills and Opportunities Fund provides a great chance for our already excellent local charities, social enterprises, community groups and state-funded schools and colleges. Make sure to get your applications in quickly as the deadline is in just a couple of weeks!”
